Fall Fashion Preview
New season, new inspiration
While we might have a couple more weeks of wearing our favorite warm-weather pieces, Fall is quickly approaching. The start of each season is an exciting time to evaluate your wardrobe with intentional editing, and have a fresh 'reset' moment. And, maybe a hot take- I think that Fall is the best time for fashion. It’s cool enough to build more interesting outfits (layers!), but still warm enough to wear your 'fits without a big jacket (ok, but I love those, too). Fall sets the tone for the rest of the year, so let's get to business!

You know how I feel about the word 'trend.' If you've worked with me before, you know I always encourage wearable, versatile, and relevant staples as opposed to overly trendy pieces that will carry you for a few months before collecting dust in the closet. Part of why I love my job as a stylist is because I get to show how you can be on trend by thoughtfully incorporating some of-the-moment pieces that will carry you this season and beyond.

English Prep
The truth is, classic prep never really goes out of style- we just see it shape shift season after season. English Prep is a timeless and classic take that encompasses staples like button ups, lived-in denim, rugby stripes, cozy knits, and checks and plaids- the perfect basics in a strong wardrobe.
Boho 2.0
Boho is back! Think oversized blouses, light maxi skirts, high waisted denim, billowing sleeves, and suede. This revival is more pared back and all about simple styling.
Wallpaper Florals
I know... groundbreaking. But this Fall, florals take on a vintage feel in darker colors, jewel tones, and neutral bases. Even if you are pattern-shy, give this one a look.
Glove Flats + Boots
Glove flats and low heels are still going strong. The glove shape has a higher throat on the foot, and pairs well with almost anything. Look out for structured boots...and plan to pair them back to the prep and boho looks above.
Denim on Denim
Forever wearable and always chic. Indulge in a double dose of your daily favorite and give those basics new life.
