At the start of each new season, I get excited about the fashion newness that comes along with it. IMO those fresh, new pieces I incorporate into my wardrobe bring extra energy and swagger into my day. And who doesn't need some of that?!
How do I figure out what will work for me, AND YOU?
Not every trend is for every body, or every lifestyle. If you have worked with me, you already know your wardrobe should not be trend-forward. I believe in relevance. That means cool, modern looks with a lil of-the-moment thrown in. After all, that's where the swagger originates from. If you're starting from scratch, the easiest way to do this is update with accessories while keeping the rest of your look polished and minimal. 1 item alone - like a shoe or bag - can go a long way.

The Trends
Icy Blues
Pastels will dominate this Spring, but pale blue is a color we can get behind for most skin and hair types. This cool color has countless wardrobe applications as the weather warms up.

Sheers are present in so many wearable ways this season, and add an interesting touch to wardrobe staples. For more demure layers under dresses and tops, add in a nude seamless bodysuit or slip dress. We say give this transparent trend a go!

Who can resist a little shine? Metallics are continuing to have a major moment, and are an unexpected, even casual and playful addition to Spring's more predictable pastel moment.
